We were at the Bristol Balloon fiesta with 4 balloons this year including the Organ Donation, Strathclyde University and two of our own Kubicek Demonstrators.

As soon as the field was open for Balloons we had the Organ Donation balloon up for the mid afternoon local news slot in blustery conditions. For the evening news slot we were asked to keep a balloon inflated for the ITV Westcountry live interview inside a balloon. Once the evening news slot had finished we positioned the balloon in its nightglow slot for the premiere event of the show.

Friday morning proved a challenge with rain during the morning slow however we managed to turn this into an advantage with many media on site we managed to capture BBC world service as well as a pre-organised feature on CBBC Newsround.

Friday evening proved to be the only real flyable slot of the event with 3 of our Balloons taking to the skies for a classic Bristol Balloon Festival flight over the City.

Sunday morning was the only remaining slot where something can be done and both the Kubicek Demonstrators we up and on display. One of them being its first time out the bag.
