We were asked by German balloon operator Siebel Balloon to operate and organise their Pokemon balloon for the upcoming Pokemon Go Festival where Niantic wanted their Balloon present.

The first part of the Activation was the press launch of the event which was designated to be at Potters Field next to London’s Tower Bridge. This involved site visits to determine the viability and the logistics given the limitations of the venue both in terms of space and crowd control and times.

The weather on the day proved a challenge with the balloon touching trees during the inflation process and while being tethered being only meters away from buildings and the trees on all sides.

The Hot air Balloon proved a great draw to many of the Pokemon fans and public alike as people swelled to the event to let fans know about the event which was down the road in Brockwell park the following days.

The day proved to be a success despite the challenging weather conditions. With many people coming to the launch and taking photos and video.
